Offered by the New York Public Library, through this series you can learn how to exploit SIBL’s information resources on topics such as preventive maintenance (PM), HVAC, electrical wiring, green buildings, alternative energy, plumbing, indoor air quality (IAQ), fire protection, security, and environmental compliance. Class will guide anyone concerned with building maintenance, from commercial and residential property owners to building engineers, managers, and superintendents to specialized library and internet resources, such as the Building Code of the City of New York and the National Electrical Code.
